Slowing Down, But Still Dreaming โ€” Why Cakakouille is Now a 2030 Vision

Hey there ๐Ÿ‘‹

If youโ€™ve been following along, you probably know that Cakakouille has been a big part of my heart โ€” โœจ

I originally planned to launch the brand much sooner. But life โ€” in the most beautiful way โ€” had other plans.

Recently, two big things happened:

  1. We welcomed a baby into our lives ๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿ’›

  2. Lachโ€™s gardening business started expanding in a really exciting direction ๐ŸŒฟ

While helping him grow his biz, I slowly found myself falling in love with things like bonsai, repotting days, and watering plants. I never thought Iโ€™d enjoy soil under my fingernails, but here we are! ๐Ÿ˜‚

With our little one growing and our home life settling into a new rhythm, Iโ€™ve decided to pause the official launch of Cakakouille and aim for 2030 instead. Right now, it feels more important to be grounded, present, and realistic with my energy. But donโ€™t get me wrong โ€” the dream is still very alive.

Iโ€™m still experimenting in the kitchen, sketching cake ideas, writing down flavor notes, and thinking about how dessert can be more than just sweet โ€” how it can tell a story, mark a season, or just bring a small moment of joy.

This blog is where Iโ€™ll continue sharing those quiet little steps.
Cakakouille may be in development stage, but Iโ€™m still dreaming, tasting, and creating in the background.

So whether youโ€™re here for garden updates, cake experiments, or just curious about how pastry dreams can grow alongside parenting and plants โ€” thanks for being here ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿฐ

With love,
Quri ๐ŸŠ
